I only trust physical sunscreens (as opposed to chemical sunscreens) because they last and don't cause skin sensitivity. It goes on whitish, but quickly absorbs into skin and provides lock-down protection. I recently used it on an all-day lake boating trip and was completely protected, except for a quarter-sized spot on my back that turned bright red where I missed application. I used the Neutrogena and Olay daily sunscreens but I tended to get whiteheads with those heavier sunscreen lotions.
